Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the North mobile application ("North," "the app," or "the service"), developed and operated by Shinui Method FZCO ("we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By downloading, accessing, or using North, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using North, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and agree to comply with these Terms, as well as any applicable policies, including our Privacy Policy.
2. License to use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use North on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store rules.
3. Acceptable use
By using North, you agree not to:
- use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app;
- interfere with or compromise the security, integrity, or performance of the service.
4. User accounts
If North offers features that require an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide truthful information and to keep it up to date.
5. Intellectual property
North, including its design, code, brand, logo, and other content, is owned by Shinui Method FZCO and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights in the app to you.
6. User content
You retain ownership of the data and content you create in North, such as tasks, habits, and notes. You are solely responsible for that content and for ensuring it does not violate the rights of third parties or applicable law.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If North offers paid features or subscriptions, the terms, prices, and renewal and cancellation rules will be presented at the time of purchase and processed through the App Store, subject to Apple's terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
North is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shinui Method FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use North.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to North at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of North after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to consumer rights provided under the user's local legislation.
